WHAT WE COLLECT. Account details you provide (name, company, email, phone),
listing and wishlist content, offers, messages, and documents you create on
the platform; technical data (device, log, and usage information) needed to
run and secure the service.
HOW WE USE IT. To operate the marketplace: matching listings to wishlists,
routing offers and messages, processing deals, sending transactional
notifications, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving the product. We do
not sell your personal information.
WHO SEES WHAT. Buyers see listing content sellers publish. Sellers see buyer
identity and offer terms when an offer or request is made, per the sale
type's rules. EQGenie staff access data as needed to operate managed sales,
verification, and support.
SERVICE PROVIDERS. We use vetted processors to run the platform — hosting
and database, email delivery, AI-assisted listing tools, and (when enabled)
payment processing. They process data only on our instructions.
RETENTION. Deal records, signed agreements, and transaction history are kept
as long as needed for legal, accounting, and dispute purposes. You may
request deletion of your account; records we must retain by law survive.
